The governance structure of TUCHIWIDO Consists of Board of Trustees management, General Assembly members and other staffs.
The General Assembly members elects the executive director that plans the activities of the organizations and supervises the administrative staff.
Board of Trustees: Provides strategic direction and oversight. Ensures alignment of programs with the organization's mission and vision.
Executive Team: Led by the Executive Director, responsible for overall leadership and operational management. Includes program managers overseeing key thematic areas such as Quality Education, Child Protection and Sports, Health, Nutrition, water Access, sanitation and Hygiene, livelihoods, Environment conservation, climate change Adaptation and Gender Inclusion, Lobby and Advocacy program
Program Implementation Teams: Comprised of field officers, community mobilizers, and technical experts who deliver programs and engage directly with communities. Focus on areas such as Quality Education, child protection and Sports, Livelihoods, Health, Nutrition, water access, sanitation and Hygiene, Environment conservation, climate change adaptation, and Gender inclusion, lobby and advocacy program.
Support Functions: Includes finance, monitoring and evaluation (M&E), communications, and administrative staff who ensure organizational efficiency and accountability.
Human Resource Capacity: A team of skilled professionals with expertise in development programming, community engagement, and advocacy. Extensive experience working with vulnerable communities, particularly in pastoralist regions.
Technical Capacity: Strong capabilities in areas such as project design, implementation, and evaluation. Knowledge of climate-smart agriculture, natural resource management, and conflict resolution.
Infrastructure and Logistics: Operational presence in Turkana Central, Loima Turkana North, Turkana West, and Kibish sub-counties.
Partnerships and Networking: TUCHIWIDO is committed in creating and maintaining network/linkages and professional partnership between CBO, NGOs and governmental line agencies in order to share experiences and resources to avoid duplication and ensure more benefits in project sustainability. Collaboration with local, national, and international partners, enhancing program reach and effectiveness. Active participation in regional peacebuilding and development networks
Leadership and Management Team

Community Mobilizers: Work closely with communities to promote participation, ownership, and sustainability of initiatives.
Technical Specialists: Provide expertise in key areas such as Quality Education, child protection and sports, Environment conservation, climate change and Adaptation, Gender Inclusion, Lobby and advocacy program, Health, Nutrition, Water Access, sanitation and Hygiene and Livelihoods.
Conducts data collection, analysis, and reporting to assess the impact of programs.
Ensures continuous learning and improvement across projects.
